JOB DESCRIPTION: The Environmental Solutions Group (ESG), based in Elgin, IL is a division of Federal Signal Corporation, a $900M company. ESG designs and manufactures a suite of products and integrated solutions for municipal, governmental, industrial and airport customers. ESG's portfolio of trusted, leading brands includes Elgin street sweepers, Guzzler industrial vacuum loaders, Jetstream high pressure waterblasters and Vactor sewer cleaners and vacuum excavators.

We are currently seeking a Midwest Regional Sales Manager (Direct).

Primary Function:      Manage the sale of the company's products to industrial plants and contractor segments.  The Regional Sales Manager is assigned an area of primary responsibility and is the primary contact between the company and its customers.

Essential Duties:

?        Champion the direct sales effort in assigned territory.

?        Generate direct sales and develop customers within specified territory.

?        Train customers and other personnel in the company's product line.

?        Attend regional sales meetings as needed.

?        Attend and coordinate regional and national trade shows.

?        Recommend new product changes as well as other new product ideas.

?        Meet sales objectives and supply forecasting information on a monthly basis.

?        Submit monthly accomplishment report.

?        Submit expense report on a timely basis.

?        Develop and maintain competitive manufacturer's profiles and report on their activity each month.

?        Ensure that all business conducted in the region is consistent with the company's mission statement and standard of ethical practices.

?        Minimum of 8 hours of training annually.

?        Extensive travel required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Requirements for this position include:

?        Bachelor's Degree

?        Mechanical aptitude and three years of capital equipment sales experience.
