Job Description

PayPal’s Global Credit Product team is responsible for delivering innovative credit products and experiences to enhance the credit buying and selling experiences for customers all over the world.  Today’s current credit portfolio includes: BillMeLater, and 3^rd party credit & debit cards.
 
The Senior Product Manager- Credit will translate the needs of our combined user base of more than 100+ million users worldwide into creative credit products and manage these products through the entire product lifecycle by determining the product requirements, managing a cross-functional team, and managing the product launch. Specifically, this role will focus on identifying and developing key credit opportunities to increase the relevance and share of credit in checkout, improve merchant average order value and drive incremental sales, while delivering a great user experience.

Key responsibilities will include:
·         Identifying and justifying creative credit product solutions to meet unmet buyer and merchant needs
·         Defining product strategies by evaluating product opportunities and associated financial benefits and building business cases to evangelize and prioritize products across the company
·         Translating opportunities and business needs into business requirements by formally documenting and presenting business requirements with quantified business case / ROI justifications
·         Developing business and product requirements documents (PRDs) for the various product strategies and collaborating with other product managers and business owners to define the business goals and metrics

Job Qualifications

·   Develop, justify and prioritize business requirements through qualitative and quantitative analyses that maximize benefits business

·   Collaborate with cross functional teams (Engineering, Customer Service, Marketing, User Design) to develop product requirements documents on a regular release-cycle basis and work to educate and build consensus and ownership from all team members

·   Drive business requirements and development from concept to completion to ensure 100% product quality while delivering functionality on time and according to specifications

·   Cultivate important cross functional relationships with marketing, business owners, country managers, development and QA to create a collaborative environment that drives the efficient development of future products

·   Command excellent strategic thinking, communication and organizational skills, detail orientation, flexibility, and be excited about working in a challenging, fast-paced, and fun environment
