Job Title: Process Engineer

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Process Engineer is responsible for initiating and leading improvement projects in all areas of manufacturing which lead to new products introductions , improved safety, increased production efficiency, improved customer service, improved quality and to reduce costs. Lead efforts in lean manufacturing initiatives. Function as a primary technical resources for manufacturing personnel.

The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Implementation of all procedures and policies for the manufacture of product
• Development of new methods and processes and incorporating them into existing operations, monitoring modifications and upgrades, and troubleshooting existing processes
• Prepare flow diagrams and process control charts and manufacturing documentation required by quality to meet customer requirements.
• Develop new test procedures to ensure quality control.
• Produce prototype samples for testing and customer evaluations
• Lead scale up activities from R&D to full production.
• Operation and maintenance of production lines
• Assisting manufacturing whenever needed
• Working in a team structure

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS Degree in Science preferably in engineering or chemistry or a
• Minimum of 5 years experience with chemical manufacturing or a
• Minimum of 2 years experience with catalyst manufacturing

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:

Must be able to sit and stand intermittently, use a keyboard, climb stairs occasionally, and lift up to 50 lbs pounds with or without accommodations.
