companies and a leading North American producer of copper alloys. We have an opportunity for an Electrical
Engineer at our East Alton, IL facility.
BASIC FUNCTIONS AND
RESPONSBILITIES (not all inclusive)
- Responsible for the complete
design of electrical systems for upgrades to
existing equipment and new process lines.
- Responsible for the system
concept, drawing development, equipment
specification, system control concepts and flow
diagrams.
- All required programming,
installation design, start-up, and final
documentation.
- Project supervision for
electrical portion of systems purchased from
outside mechanical and/or electrical equipment
suppliers.
- On a day-to-day basis include
technical support of maintenance in
troubleshooting process line breakdowns.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS (not
all inclusive)
- B.S. degree in Electrical
Engineering.
- Minimum of four years
experience in system design, programming, and
startup of industrial process line control
equipment.
- Experience should include but
not be limited to programming and implementation
of Programmable Logic Controllers, AC/DC motor
drives, Human Machine Interface, and industrial
component networking.
- Experience with Rockwell/Allen
Bradley PLC, Siemens S7 PLC, Siemens and Rockwell
AC/DC drives, and/or Wonderware HMI software is a
plus.
- Experience in metal processing
line applications is beneficial.
- AutoCAD experience is
preferred.
