JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Biofuels IT&S Business Analyst will manage the elicitation, definition and management of business requirements from stakeholders, to ensure that delivered IT&S solutions successfully meet those needs within context, and that business users' expectations are met.

The Business Analyst will work closely with the other members of the Biofuels IT&S team and business unit to ensure appropriateness of design and alignment with business priorities. They will also need to ensure that associated business processes are designed, implemented and understood as part of any deployment.

The role will predominantly provide business/system expertise across the SAP footprint This will include the deployment of new functional areas as well as the on-going business process / operational support. The role will be the intermediary between the BP SAP implementation and support teams and the Biofuels business.

The role will also cover non-SAP projects as these arise in support of Biofuels business requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in related field.

Proven experience working in a business analyst capacity on an SAP IT/Systems project with an excellent track record of delivery.

Good knowledge of SAP modules (Finance / Procurement / Maintenance)Excellent analysis and design skills.

Self-starter with the ability to understand requirements and respond to customer needs in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment

Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate and build productive relationships with other teams and organisations

Co-ordinate and influence business users to reconcile differences and to achieve consensus, while setting realistic expectations.

Strong performance bias and business awareness

Good accounting knowledge

Excellent record of stakeholder management

Abilities and confidence in managing activities with conflicting priorities.

Experience in at least one analysis method (e.g. Agile, UML, process modelling techniques)
