In Biofuels, our business
in conventional products such as bio-ethanol is already
substantial, accounting for about 10% of the world
market. However, as well as providing today's biofuels,
we're also developing tomorrow's. We are investing $500
million over 10 years in the Energy Biosciences Institute
to explore options for advanced biofuels and other
applications of biotechnology to energy.
Provide specialist analysis and advice to Biofuels business concerning technology development for sugar cane as a key feedstock for the business;
Act as local
technology support for cane crop development and
selection projects both within BP and with partners
Masters degree mandatory.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
Fluency in Portuguese
With at least 5 years experience in sugar cane crop development technology and/or large agroindustrial operations.
Experience in application of precision agriculture in sugar cane.
modeling and economic analysis packages, GIS.
